Kiwanis AleFest - Volunteer Registration

You're about to register as a volunteer at Prince George's first craft beer festival. Please read the following important volunteer information and fine print / terms (which may be subject to change):

Volunteer Updates:

  • None yet - watch this space and email notices sent to you

Event Details:

  • This is going to be fun event to volunteer as it raises funds for Kiwanis projects and children charities, increase community pride through a fun signature social event, and promotes local
  • Kiwanis AleFest is being organized by Kiwanis Prince George, a local non-profit community service organization, together with local sponsors and volunteers.
  • We plan to host it annually and become a showcase event for great beer and food in the north
  • The event is being organized as a fun classy tasting event, that has a comfortable feel between a wine festival and a beer garden - a rationale for holding the event at the art gallery
  • Two 3 hours tasting sessions (3-6pm, 7:30-10:30pm) with 1.5 hour break (6-7:30pm) in between
  • ~700 people in attendance, made up of ~600 ticketed guests and ~100 volunteers and vendor staff
  • This is our first event so we're learning - feedback from volunteers is sincerely appreciated

Volunteer Registration Details:

  • We're looking for volunteers who can contribute their time to cover specific shifts we've developed for covering the pre-event set-up, two session, and post-event take down.
  • Volunteers are asked to commit to attend one of the Volunteer Orientation sessions, and at least one full shift over the course of the event
  • Looking to register multiple volunteers? You can sign up as many as you want. However, due to a technical limitation we can just sign up 2 volunteers at a time. So for example if you want to sign-up 6 volunteers - unfortunatekly you need to go through the process 3 times and will have to provide unique email addresses for each of the individual volunteers.
  • You must be 19 years or older to volunteer and attend the event - 2 pieces of identification (1 being photo ID) may be requested
  • This page provides volunteer updates and information. Please click through below to register to volunteer and you will be added to our formal volunteer registry so we're able to communicate to you and schedule your shift(s).
  • Once you've completed your volunteer registration, you will receive an email order confirmation from Kiwanis Prince George. If you do not see this confirmation email in your inbox, please check your spam/junk folder. If you are having any registration issues, please email us
  • By being a volunteer you are giving Kiwanis Prince George and the media permission to appear in or on the promotional items such as, but not limited to, news broadcasts, websites, social media, marketing materials and advertising.
