As boomers quickly approach retirement age, employers are at risk of losing a valuable resource and facing talent shortages. At the same time, the way we think about work and retirement is changing. Many boomers want to remain in the workforce, although possibly in new ways. Employers who are willing to try new approaches can turn this to their advantage. It’s good for business and it’s good for older adults.
This forum provides an opportunity for employers and older adults to share ideas and consider options for making the most of mature workers. Bailey, Satre, and Christensen will talk about the innovative approaches they are using in their organizations. Everyone will have a chance to participate in smaller group discussions led by facilitators.
This forum is free and open to the public.
