 Fall 2019 Rights-of-Way as

Habitat Working Group Meeting

We are excited to be co-located with the Trees & Utilities Conference in September. Trees & Utilities is the chief learning and engagement event for utility vegetation managers and provides us a valuable opportunity to leverage this industry expertise and shared interests with our habitat-focused work.

The Rights-of-Way as Habitat Working Group is a unique network of professionals from across the electric, gas, rail, and road industries. We work closely with industry leaders, government agencies, academia, and non-profit partners to collaborate, share ideas and best practices, and promote successful habitat conservation along rights-of-way and other managed lands. Everyone is welcome!

Join us for a mix of technical presentations, industry updates, breakout sessions, and networking with your peers! For even more, stay through the Trees & Utilities Conference on Wednesday and Thursday. Find more information below and on our DETAILED AGENDA.

12:00pm – 1:00pm: Join us for a welcome lunch at the Cincinnati Zoo and network with ROW industry peers and partners. For those new to the working group, we will provide an introduction and background information.

1:00pm – 5:00pm: Learn from your peers and experts in a series of technical presentations focused on “green contracting” for habitat restoration and management and other program and project updates from across the utility and transportation sectors.

5:30pm – 7:00pm: Spend time with networking with your peers while enjoying a meet and greet with the Cincinnati Zoo's giraffes!
