School Bus Driver and Instructor In-service!
Student Management, Special Needs Student Management, Basic First-Aid and Operation Safe Stop
Our program begins with an update from Trooper Mark Magoon who is the new state trooper now in charge of the student transportation program at DMV. While Trooper Kelby remains higher up the chain of command over the area including student transportation, Trooper Magoon is our ‘go-to guy” for the latest information and updates for the NH school bussing community. For some, this will be your first opportunity to meet Mark. After his presentation, we will begin our formal presentations with topics and presenters as follows:

Special Needs on Various Kinds of School Buses and Student Management: Carol
Gelina and Todd Dickens, Durham School Services - This session will discuss some of the common special needs bus drivers may have on their buses and address their management.
Operation Safe Stop: Percy Abbott, P & J Abbott Assoc. & Consulting - This session will walk participants through the steps to properly train students and what a normal day at a bus stop should look like.
