History Walk from Highland Farm to McIntire Highlands Preserve 

Explore the storied forests and fields of our Highland Farm and McIntire Highland Preserves on this 2-mile long history hike.  We will follow trails within our preserves and The Kittery Water District, and will visit the remnants of a 19th century homestead including a cellar hole and cemetery, and discuss how we can interpret the structures to understand how farmers once lived on this land.  This is a family friendly adventure for all ages. 

Please dress for the weather that day and bring water and snacks if desired.

Advanced registration is necessary. This event is free to YLT members.  Non-members are asked to consider a $5 donation per person/$10 per group donation.  Program size is limited to the first 25 participants or registrations received by 12/6/17.
