Turtle Trek at Bell Marsh Wetlands Preserve

Bring the family and explore the world of turtles at York Land Trust’s Bell Marsh Wetlands. See our restoration efforts to restore an old quarry to provide nesting habitat for endangered Blanding’s and Spotted turtles. Wildlife experts from Center for Wildlife will have turtles on hand to see up close and will also give insight into what it takes for our native terrapins to make it through the seasons. Participants will meet at Highland Farm Preserve and carpool to the site.

Meet at Highland Farm Preserve in York to carpool at 10:00 am.  Advanced registration is necessary.  This event is free to YLT members.  Non-members are asked to consider a $5 donation per person/$10 per group donation.  Program size is limited to the first 25 participants.
