What are the expectations as an early childhood professional to end this cycle and to make life a little easier for those not quite “living the life”? Sarah Williams, Presenter
The Golden Rules for Partnering with FamiliesLearning to create partnerships with the child’s families will help the child care provider and preschool teachers provide the best service to all children. The focus of this workshop will be discussions about how to communicate successfully with parents, how to set-up the relationship for success and what to do when challenges arise. The participant will receive actual activities that the parents will do at home to promote resiliency in their child. These activities will promote a bond between the provider/teacher and the families that are served. Pam Raffurty, Presenter
Open Wide: Open-ended Activities for Fun and Learning This session will focus on the importance of providing activities and materials that encourage children to explore and learn.
