OSHA Certification Classes

The OSHA Training assists employers in multiple industries to train and introduce employees to the basic practices of identifying, reducing, eliminating and reporting hazards associated with their work. It is designed to teach individuals to recognize hazards and prevent injury and illness in the workplace.

The need for OSHA 10-hour Training in multiple industries has changed.

Who Should Attend?

  • All contractors and subcontractors working on public projects must provide 10-hour construction safety training to theri employees.
  • New employees who need to be made aware of hazards associated with their work and how to deal with them.
  • Existing employees who have been working in the industry and can utilize the reminder that hazards exist and continued vigilance is important.

The OSHA Outreach Training Program for General Industry provides training for workers and employers on the recognition, avoidance, abatement, and prevention of safety and health hazards in workplaces in general industry. The program also provides information
regarding workers' rights, employer responsibilities, and how to file a complaint. This is a voluntary program which focuses on workplace safety and does not meet training requirements for any OSHA standards.  Fee: $199.00

HazWoper 24Hour Certification Course 1910-120

Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response HAZWOPER refers to many types of hazardous waste operations and emergency services conducted around the world, especially those conducted under the auspices of the federal government of the United States. The term appears in hazardous waste treatment regulations currently published by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).

This course is required for employees visiting an Uncontrolled Hazardous Waste
Operation.  The course covers 24 hours of instruction, required by 29 CFR 1910.120(e) (3), OSHA’s Hazardous Waste and Emergency Response training. Recognize and recall OSHA regulations and requirements and demonstrates an understanding of site characterization.

HazWoper 8Hour Refresher Course 1910-120

This course is designed for general site workers who remove hazardous waste or who are exposed or potentially exposed to hazardous substances. Recognize and recall OSHA regulations and requirements. Demonstrate an understanding of site characterization and identify the principles of toxicology and how they relate to various types of chemical exposures. 
As an annual refresher, this course meets the requirements outlined in OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120 for 8 (eight) hours of training.

OSHA 10 Hour Construction Industry classes are available in Sedalia (1st week of each month), Clinton (2nd week of each month) and the Lake of the Ozarks (3rd week of each month).
