Eric Steinberg is President and founder of Farallon Electronics. He is an FCC licensed marine electronics technician with extensive experience on custom yachts. Eric specializes in three areas, 1) product development and system design, 2) grand prix racing yacht systems from One Design to Americas Cup and 3) video technology from the broadcast television industry. Eric has won an Emmy award, shares in two patents and has numerous accolades for his work and products.
Ben Mercer is the Project Manager at Easom Rigging and Racing and a Professional Sailor. He started at Toledo Beach Marina in Michigan where he spent summers stepping and unstepping masts seasonally. From there he went to work for Dieball Sails learning to build sails for small one design boats and medium sized PHRF racing boats. he spent his free time traveling around the country sailing OD Dinghies and Keelboats. He joined the North Sails in 2010 managing the Superyacht and Grand Prix One design finishing floors with stints moonlighting for Oracle, Alinghy, and Puma Ocean Racing, from there he joined the Quantum Sails team here in San Francisco, until he settled in with Easom Rigging for the last few years.
