2019 Educational Conference

AFP Alabama will host the 2019 Educational Conference on September 13th at Birmingham-Southern College. The special guest will be Penelope Burk, a highly sought-after national figure who has provided years of research-based guidance to the nonprofit industry.

Ms. Burk will speak on "Donor-Centered Fundraising," her breakthrough strategy that sustains donor loyalty and raises more generous gifts by bringing fundraising in line with donors’ modern-day requirements. Defined by two decades of research with thousands of donors and fundraisers, donor-centered fundraising is the only statistically-supported fundraising philosophy with the power to bring donors and not-for-profits together to achieve substantial growth.

Tickets are $75 for AFP members and $100 for non-members. Lunch will be provided. Book signing to follow the conference.
