LOWA IS HAVING THEIR ANNUALFALL PLANT SALE FEATURING MISSOURI NATIVE PLANTS

It’s that time again! Lake of the Ozarks Watershed Alliance, Inc. (LOWA) is offering everyone the opportunity to pre-order top quality MO native perennial plants at wholesale prices. These are beautiful, healthy perennial plants native to Missouri that grow stronger and need less maintenance each year they are in your landscape.

These plants are useful for everyday landscaping needs and stormwater runoff management, as well as helping to establish pollinator plots and flyways for the Monarch butterfly! At the same time, this sale supports LOWA and its ongoing efforts to keep our beautiful Lake of the Ozarks clean and healthy.

Pricing is as follows:

Wildflowers and Sedges/Grasses – quart sized pots - $4.50

Trees/Shrubs and Vines – quart sized pots - $6.00

 Trees/Shrubs and Vines    - gallon sized pots - $7.50

To Pick Up Your Order:

Plants will be available for pick up on September 27 at the Sunrise Beach Fire Station on Highway 5-32 (across from Hurricane Deck Elementary School) between the hours of 3 and 6 pm. There will be a small selection of additional plants available for purchase at this time as well. If you have any questions, please call LOWA at 573.723.0637.

Remember:

  • Native plants help manage stormwater runoff, require less maintenance and provide wildlife habitat
  • The plants available at LOWA’s fall sale are top quality container grown plants from Prairie Hill Farm
  • Your purchase will help LOWA continue to educate Lake of the Ozarks residents of all ages about how we can all help protect our lakes, streams, and watershed
