2016 2Dam Days Volunteer Registration

One of the best ways to participate in the LOWA annual 2 Dam days excitement is to volunteer at the races!

Volunteers get a front row seat to all the fun as well as a t-shirt and can serve thier watershed in multiple ways.

Checkpoint Volunteers:

Watch as the racers pass by your checkpoint, logging in their time and boat number, ensuring accuracy through out the race. there are checkpoints up and down the lake and can be arranged close to your location and available time! Sign up to volunteer for checkpoints by clicking here!

Race Registrations:

Be there to see all the racers check in and are properly equipped to race for the day, then be the one to blow the horn as the racers set on thier course! Sign up to volunteer for Race Registration by clicking here!

Safety Boats:

Have a boat? Want to enjoy the day on the beautiful lake, relax and enjoy as you ensure the safety of the LOWa racers, in true front row style! Sign up to volunteer for Safety Boats by clicking here!

Marketing:

Busy the weekend of the race? No problem, we can still use your help and expertise. Help LOWA get the word out to the public, sponosors, and racers! Use your creative side to design flyers, talk to the media and of course shout out the event from rooftops on social media. Sign up to volunteer for marketing by clicking here!

Racer Recruiting:

Any good at talking the smack? Throw down some challenges on the racer boards and talk to all the racers about what a great event it will be! This is one volunteer posistion thats all about the attitude! Sign up to volunteer for racer recruiting by clicking here!

Radio Communications:

Like to play with radio? Work in conjunction with EMS, Coast Guard, and Safety Boats to ensure communication lines are operational through the race. Sign up to volunteer for radio communications by clicking here!

Race Central:

Best Finish Line seat in the house! Be at the finish line as racers paddle in, recording times and locations of racers while assisting support crews to know where and how their racers are doing. Be the hub of the race! Sign up to volunteer for race central by clicking here!

Race Set-Up/Clean-Up:

Make sure the race is ready to go, pass out flyers before the race, be sure all volunteers boats have their proper flags and radios, be the go to person, once the fun has ended ensure all volunteers have turned in their equipment so another year can go down without a hitch!
