Great Outdoors Store - Chatham StFREE Camino Information evening
This September, Frances Black and the RISE Team are planning, with the help of the Dublin-based Camino Experts Follow the Camino, to accompany a group of at least 30 people on a once-in-a-lifetime adventure on the Camino de Santiago also known as the Way of St James, a 1000 years old Heritage Trail to Santiago de Compostela in Northern Spain.
The group will spend 6 days walking 15 to 25km per day to complete the last 100km of the French Way before arriving in Santiago de Compostela, where they will receive an official pilgrimage certificate.
The purpose of the walk is to raise funds for the RISE foundation, a charity founded by Frances Black to support the families of those struggling with addiction. Frances will be on hand to talk about the charity whilst experts from Follow the Camino and Great Outdoors will have lots of information on the walk itself and the kit needed to tackle it.
Tickets for the info night are FREE but limited. So to ensure you get some seats for you and your friends, make sure to book through the link below.
