TCRN Review with Jeff Solheim hosted by Illinois ENA

Successfully completing the Trauma Certified Registered Nurse (TCRN) exam is a challenge that has been completed by only a minority of emergency nurses.

This two-day course is a review of emergency nursing designed to assist the participant to be successful in obtaining TCRN certification.

Jeff’s TCRN course is full of videos, pictures, pearls of wisdom, as well as motivational and humorous stories from his experience delivering healthcare throughout the third world with his nonprofit medical team Project Helping Hands.

ENA Members: $249 (ENA Member number required for discounted rate.)

Non-Members: $299

Course fees include the two day course, course materials (to be distributed on site), and breakfast, refreshments and lunch daily.

About the Speaker

Jeff Solheim, MSN, RN, CEN, TCRN, CFRN, FAEN

Jeff brings with him a wealth of nursing background, including clinical nursing in medical/surgical and emergency medicine, cruise-ship nursing, flight nursing, nursing management, state surveyor, and nursing educator. Jeff currently finds his fulfillment speaking in front of audiences around the world on a variety of clinical and motivational topics.

Jeff was honored by the Emergency Nurses Association with the “Nursing Education Award” for his outstanding contribution to Emergency Nursing through education and publication, and in 2008, was inducted as a fellow in the Academy of Emergency Nursing.

Jeff has authored 20 CEN, Pediatric, and Trauma review books, authored the online CEN review course for MCStrategies and the Emergency Nurses Association and has co-authored and edited numerous other textbooks, online courses and publications. Jeff is currently the co-editor of the column “Experience Talks” in the Journal of Emergency Nursing

Jeff is also the founder of Project Helping Hands, a not-for-profit humanitarian medical organization that coordinates medical teams in developing nations. Jeff has personally led over 50 teams to countries all around the world.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

You may cancel your registration without cause for a refund based on the following:

Cancellations by April 3, 2017, amount refunded: $199 (ENA Members), $249 (Non-Members)

Cancellations by April 28, 2017, amount refunded: $124 (ENA Members), $149 (Non-Members)

Cancellations after April 28, 2017, will not be eligible for a refund.

There is a mandatory non-refundable $25 administrative fee (included in the above refund schedule).

Transfer of Registration

In the event that you are unable to attend the course, your registration is transferable at no additional charge. You may only transfer your registration within your same registration type (ENA Member to ENA Member or Non-Member to Non-Member). Contact Nicholas Nelson at president@illiniosena.org if you wish to transfer your registration to another person no later than Thursday, May 4, 2017.
