Join us at Home2 Suites Kansas City Airport in Kansas City, Missouri, for medical gas systems training! These courses provide the technical knowledge required for the installation, inspection, maintenance and generalist of medical gas and vacuum systems.

Medical gas installer candidates are required to have a minimum of four (4) years of documented practical experience in the field of plumbing or mechanical piping systems as a pre-requisite. This 32-hour block of instruction is a concentrated course providing exposure to all facets of the NFPA 99 Medical Gas & Vacuum standard, including oral, written and practical instruction. The course length is 4 days and the tuition cost is $1,250.00.

Medical gas inspector candidates must be employed by a governmental unit as a plumbing and/or mechanical inspector, or as an administrator of such inspectors, or be a person regularly involved in the design, inspection, or verification of medical gas systems, or be an ASSE 6010 medical gas systems installer. Candidates are required to have a minimum of two (2) years of documented practical experience. The course length is 24-hours (3 days), and the tuition cost is $950.00.

Medical gas maintenance candidates must be employed or contracted by a health care facility, or be actively engaged in working with medical gas systems. Candidates are required to have one (1) year minimum experience in the maintenance of the medical gas and vacuum systems.This credential is designed for those who will perform onsite maintenance of medical gas systems. The course length is 24-hours (3 days), and the tuition cost is $950.00.

Medical gas generalist is open to anyone with an interest in medical gas and vacuum systems and equipment. This 24-hour block of instruction provides general knowledge of medical gas and vacuum systems for the purpose of continuing education. The course length is 24-hour (3 days), and the tuition cost is $875.00.
