Dental Radiography for the Dental Team

The course offers a combination of theory and hands-on practice that will be reaffirm dental radiographic principles and practices necessary for certification.  The course covers the historical background of X-rays, radiation, physics, biology, radiation protections, infection control, dental X-ray machine components, dental film, digital receptor, anatomical landmarks, bitewings, periapical exposures, processing and mounting films, and identifying and correcting exposures or processing errors.
