Join us for a conversation about "Living in the Tension: the Scriptural Command to Offer Hospitality and Our Need for Security." The 2018 Annual Meeting of the South Carolina Christian Action Council is on May 17, 2018, at Kathwood Baptist Church., 4900 Trenholm Road, Columbia, SC.
Program Personalities Include:
 Dr. Arlene Andrews, PhD, LISW,
Distinguished Professor Emerita, College of Social Work, University of South Carolina.
Active member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Blythewood, SC, passionate justice advocate, member Mom's Demand Action for Gun Sense in America. Her many acheivements include serving as the founding executive director of SisterCare, Columbia, SC, and as founding executive director of Prevent Child Abuse SC. The Rev. Dr. Jamey O. Graham, D.Min.
Pastor, St. John Baptist Church, Columbia, SC. Dr. Graham's doctoral studies focused on Hospitality. First in his class at Morris College, SC, he earned his M.Div. at Colgate Rochester Crozer Divinity School, NY, and his D.Min. at McCormick Theological Seminary, Chicago, Illinois. He has studied abroad at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Israel.
The Rev. Carrie Walker Nettles, M.Div., Victim Service Specialist, Julie Valentine Center, Greenville, SC. A graduate of Lutheran Theological Southern Seminay of Lenoir-Ryne Univeristy, Rev. Nettles is an active member of First Baptist Greenville, a member congregation of the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship of SC.
