The International Furnishings and Design Association (IFDA) is proud to sponsor our second annual design exhibition, featured in six of our Chapters across the country, including Philadelphia, New York, Scottsdale, Boca Raton, San Francisco, and Washington D.C. 

You are invited to join us for this unique Exhibit and Charity Auction event, IFDA Take A Seat.    This wonderful start to DesignPhiladelphia will be held on October 10th, 6:00-10:00pm, at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts (PAFA).   

The event will feature up-cycled chairs, creatively redesigned by area members of the art, architecture, and design communities.  These unique chairs will be on display in various locations around Center City from 10/2-10/10, for public viewing.  Please visit any of these locations to view these stunning examples of local creativity:  Macy's, Dane Decor, Sophy Curson, Freeman's Auctioneers & Appraisers, and Moore College of Art and Design.  Please visit the IFDA Take A Seat website, www.ifdatakeaseat.com, for more details.

We are honored to have David Walker, of Freeman's Auctioneers and Appraisers, presiding over the Auction, where you will have the opporutnity to bid on  these one-of-a-kind "seats".   

The majority of the evening's proceeds will benefit Project Home, a Philadelphia non-profit organization, empowering individuals to break the cycle of poverty and homelessness through affordable housing, employment, education, and healthcare. 

To make this evening even more special, this event will be catered by Stephen Starr Events, with a Cash Bar available.
