Join us at the Cruising Freedom Forum for an engaging panel discussion with active sailors/adventurers!

Our panel will draw on many years and miles of experience to answer questions such as: What should you prioritize when choosing and outfitting a boat with cruising in mind? What does it mean to be self-sufficient in 2017? How can you best prepare yourself for the lifestyle and situations you may encounter - from picking crew to heavy weather? Learn from our mistakes too!

Benefit from expert tips for safe passages to tropical destinations and beyond... Whether crossing lakes or oceans, the freedom to explore the world in this amazing way is yours to realize.

Combine John Neal’s 350,000 sea miles with Amanda Swan Neal’s 308,000, and there’s not much they haven’t experienced out there. John & Amanda annually run Mahina Expeditions, sail-training expeditions worldwide aboard their Hallberg-Rassy 46. They live in the San Juan Islands during their off seasons.

French Canadian couple Isabelle Tremblay and David Hayes recently completed an Atlantic Circuit from Canada - south to the Caribbean before crossing to Europe and back - with their two daughters and aboard their Hunter 41, Morning Haze. Isabelle and David are both now involved with World Cruising Club.

Will and Sarah Curry run Canadian family business, Hydrovane Self Steering. They sold their first boat, a Beneteau First 405, in Australia after sailing her across the Pacific ocean. They are now outfitting their Jeanneau 43, Kaiquest, to head south to warmer climes once again.
