Join us for a Plastic Bag Information Session and Panel. Panelists from Greenwich, Branford, Newtown, and Westport will lead you through their experiences of what it takes and how to successfully ban the plastic bag in a community, what it looks like to be in the middle of the process of a community plastic bag ban campaign, and what it's like for a community to start exploring options and solutions to the plastic bag issue. Also, information about House Bill 6313: Tax on single use plastic and paper bags, will be shared.
All are welcome. No prior knowledge of plastic bag solutions is needed. For questions, call 203 536 4695.
Those interested in getting more involved, will be invited to join a Plastic Bag Solutions Working Group.
The next Plastic Bag Information Session will be at RCSD Outcomes and Action Steps, Wednesday, April 25, at Fairfield University from 7pm - 8;30pm.
