Why You Should Attend:

CVI"s 3rd Annual Interventional Cardiovascular Medicine CME program addresses new and emerging technologies and clinical controversies in Interventional Cardiovascular Medicine.  We are honored to welcome Dr. Eugene Braunwald, the world's leading authority in the field of cardiovascular medicine, who will deliver our Keynote Presentation, "The War on Heart Failure." Dr. Braunwald will be joined by internationally recognized thought leaders and regional experts in the field of cardiovascular medicine.  The program consists of three topical sections: Coronary Artery Disease, Structural Heart Disease and Peripheral Vascular Disease.  Each section includes case demonstrations, focused state-of-the-art reviews and discussion of therapeutic pathways to achieve optimal outcomes.  The Coronary section focuses on complex PCI, STEMI in 2014, interventional pharmacology, preventing MI in the cath lab and Coronary Complications.  Following Dr. Braunwald's Keynote, there is a presentation by the American College of Cardiology on the Critical Role of the Cardiologist in Advancing Cardiovascular Care.  The Structural section focuses on ASD repair, decrypting cryptogenic stroke, PFO closure for stroke prevention, and transcatheter valve therapy.  Our program concludes with the Peripheral Vascular section, highlighting percutaneous AAA repair, advanced catheter techniques for PV intervention and peripheral complications.   The purpose of this symposium is to bring together internationally recognized experts for an interactive educational symposium that emphasizes practical clinical information to better serve our patients.

 Target Audience:

Clinical Cardiologists, Interventional Cardiologists, Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgeons, Emergency Medicine and Primary Care/Family Practice Physicians, Interventional Radiologists, Fellows, Residents, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Nurses, Cath Lab Staff, and Hospital Administrators interested in reducing door to balloon time.
