When a user lands on your homepage, you have about 10 seconds to introduce them to your business, build trust, and guide them to an action. In this interactive talk, we'll be looking at a few of your homepages, discussing what is working well, and brainstorming improvements based on website best practices. Short Bio:
Samanth Fagan is a web designer of 10 years who, ultimately, considers herself a storyteller. Founder of Design It Please, Samantha has a passion for helping small businesses and non-profits tell their story online. If you don't find her Instagramming at one of the coffee shops around town, she'll probably be dancing her heart out at a concert.
Geeta Halley is the Public Services Manager at the Round Rock Public Library. She oversees the library’s Reference and Circulation departments. She has been in the library field for 15+ years and has a Masters in Library Science from the University of Wisconsin. She is passionate about demonstrating the value of librarians as essential resources to the business community.
