The presentation will introduce attendees to ReferenceUSA – a business opportunity research service. ReferenceUSA is a powerful online reference and research tool providing instant, real-time access to accurate, in-depth information on over 24 million US businesses and 250 million US residents. During our session, we will take a quick look at ReferenceUSA business and consumer data and then we will conduct a quick demonstration of the service so attendees can see the powerful reference tool which is part of their Round Rock Public Library membership benefit.
Small business owners/entrepreneurs, job seekers, marketing and sales professionals, as well as those curious about locating and researching data will benefit from this presentation.
2 minutes – Introduce Library’s mission to help local businesses
2 minutes – Library cards, how to use the library
5 minutes – Overview of library resources for work, home, and leisure
20 minutes – Overview of ReferenceUSA database
10 minutes – Questions
20 minutes – Tour of the library

Short Bio: Geeta Halley is the Public Services Manager at the Round Rock Public Library. She oversees the library’s Reference and Circulation departments. She has been in the library field for 16 years and has a Masters in Library Science from the University of Wisconsin.
