     Our rhythm will include Centering Prayer, the dedication of the Carol Dianne Lewis Library, refreshments, and an indoor, meditative labyrinth walk.

The Centering Prayer Library is named in honor of Carol Dianne Lewis who established the collection in 2010. Her energy and dedication to Centering Prayer initiated the call to others in the contemplative community that resulted in the formation of Contemplative Outreach Northwest Florida/Pensacola. She led as Chapter Coordinator until she was called home. Her collection resides in the Christ Church Prayer Room and is available to anyone.

We are all just walking each other home, praying for and loving one another.  Labyrinths have long been used as meditation and prayer tools. Walking the labyrinth serves as a metaphor for one’s own spiritual journey. Patti Bodenhamer, spiritual director and Veriditas certified labyrinth facilitator, will teach a brief history of the labyrinth and then prepare us for a meditative walk.
