Centering Prayer is a method of silent prayer that prepares us to receive the gift of contemplative prayer in which we experience God's presence within us. Centering Prayer is a path to personal transformation. The Introductory Workshop supports a daily practice as taught by Father Thomas Keating.

The Introductory Program is designed for those new to Centering Prayer or for those who want to become more familiar with this contemplative prayer form- the prayer form of early Christians.The cost of the workshop is $30 which includes welcoming refreshments, a catered box lunch and the book, Forty Days to a Closer Walk with God by David Muyskens. Six continuing sessions will be offered as an option determined by participants.

Presenter: Minta McDavid is a Commissioned Presenter for Contemplative Outreach, Ltd. and she is a member of the Contemplative Outreach  of Pensacola community.
