       *The doors will open at 8:30. Please arrive early, settle into your seat by 8:50, and prepare for the morning. Bookends of Centering Prayer will wrap around a time of enrichment as we hear a stirring interview with Sr. "Meg" Funk and ponder her thoughts on the practice of renunciating violence. 

 

The theological foundation of Centering Prayer is the Divine Presence in every human person. While formed by our respective denominations, we are bonded through the experience of Christ in Centering Prayer and in daily life. The practice of Centering Prayer deepens our awareness of the oneness of all creation and our compassion for the whole human family... The good accomplished through Contemplative Outreach is the gift of the Holy Spirit.
