...and enter into the Advent mystery.
Hoping for a deeper experience of God's presence this Advent? In this retreat setting the rhythm of the hours will provide a balance of teaching and silence and of reflection and rest. Insights from the writings of Cynthia Bourgeault will offer examination of the practice of Centering Prayer as well as reflections on Bourgeault's Wisdom Jesus. The weekend experience will guide us to the Incarnation and its implications for the spiritual journey as it touches the heart of the Advent season.

Fr. Bill is an experienced and beloved retreat director. He has been involved with Contemplative Outreach since 1983 and continues to serve the Centering Prayer communities. He has a rich background as a Pastor, Director of Ministry to Priests, Novice Director, Director of Formation, Provincial, and Director of Oblate House of Theology.
Camp Beckwith is a idyllic bayside retreat set on 82 acres of tall pines and landscaped open space on Weeks Bay in Fairhope, Alabama, an hour drive from Pensacola. Transportation to/from Camp Beckwith and Pensacola International Airport will be available.
RETREAT SCHEDULE AND COST

The retreat begins with dinner on Friday, December 9, 2016 and closes at noon, Sunday, December 11, 2016 (Central Time Zone).
The fee of $240 (double) and $290 (single) includes the retreat, five meals and two nights lodging. Reservations are limited and will be taken in the order they are received.
CANCELLATION POLICY Payment includes a non-refundable $70 deposit to confirm room. A cancellation refund less $70 will be given up to Nov 1.
WAIT LIST A wait list will be opened when the retreat capacity is reached.
