8-Day Centering Prayer Retreat
(Intensive and Post-Intensive)
Contemplative Outreach of Pensacola
Come to the waters the week before Holy Week in 2016 for this Lenten opportunity for practitioners of Centering Prayer. Deepen your contemplative journey in the contemporary world. This week long experience will integrate contemplation and action through silence, solitude and community. The retreat offers two tracks, Intensive and Post-Intensive.
The Intensive Retreat provides an opportunity to deepen the practice of Centering Prayer in an atmosphere of profound silence and community support. There are six 30-minute Centering Prayer periods daily. The prayer is supported with viewing of a selection of Fr. Thomas Keating’s Spiritual Journey video series. Private interviews with the staff are available. An established centering prayer practice is highly recommended.
The Post-Intensive Retreat provides an opportunity to deepen the practice of Centering Prayer and Lectio Divina (Praying Sacred Scriptures) in an atmosphere of profound silence and community support. There are seven 30-minute periods of Centering Prayer daily. Participants observe Grand Silence four days during the retreat. Previous participation in an 8 or 10 Day Intensive Retreat is recommended for the Post-Intensive.
Camp Beckwith is a bayside retreat set on 82 acres of tall pines and landscaped open space on Weeks Bay in Fairhope, Alabama, an hour drive from Pensacola. Transportation to/from Camp Beckwith and Pensacola International Airport will be available.

The retreat begins with dinner on Saturday, March 12th, 2016 and closes after breakfast Saturday morning, March 19, 2016. (Central Time Zone)
The fee of $780 includes the retreat, meals and seven nights single occupancy lodging. Reservations are limited and will be taken in the order which they are received.
A non-refundable Deposit of $125 is due by January 5, 2016. The balance of payment is due February 10, 2016.
CANCELLATION POLICY - Registration fee of $125 is non refundable. If paid in full, the total paid less $125 will be refunded until February 10, 2016.

Leslee Terpay has served the Centering Prayer community for 13 years and is a Spiritual Director in Lone Tree, CO. She is a member of the Contemplative Outreach Service Teams for Retreats and Lectio Divina and a member of the Living Flame Faculty. Leslee has served numerous Centering Prayer and Lectio Divina Retreats.
Carol Lewis has served the Centering Prayer community as a Facilitator and founding Coordinator of Contemplative Outreach of Northwest Florida. She is a member of the Contemplative Outreach Service Team for Centering Prayer Presenter Formation.
