Mariemont House Tour

The Village of Mariemont earned a place on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979 and National Historic Landmark status in 2007.  Mary Emery was the early 1900’s philanthropist that along with a Town Planner created this “model town” and was also the impetus behind the establishment of Children’s Hospital in Cincinnati.

On Sunday, June 7 from 1pm to 5pm, please join Kindervelt #54 and take the opportunity to tour five homes in the Village of Mariemont and support Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center.

The Barn will open its doors from 3pm to 5pm for the House Tour’s complimentary wine and cheese reception.
Local Girl Scouts will  serve complimentary refreshments - you will see several lemonade stands between the homes on the Tour.

Tickets will be sold for $25 in advance and $30 the day of the event.
All proceeds will benefit Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, specifically The Heart Institute's Kindervelt Neurodevelopmental & Educational Clinic.

This event features five distinct Mariemont homes that have incorporated modern convenience while preserving the original Village character and charm:

The Waltz House:  6805 Hammerstone Way
Previous owners, the Taft family, left behind artifacts in the attic that were donated and are now on display at the Taft Museum.  The gourmet kitchen and English garden are just some of the features that make it the stunning home it is today.

The Bischoff House:  4004 Lytle Woods Place
Pure Michigan!  From the bluestone walkway to the backyard waterfall, you feel like you are summering in Leland. This light-filled home exudes comfort and casual inside and out.   So many thoughtful and unique details make this a truly special home.  (Parking on Haines Avenue)

The Dershaw House: 6501 Mariemont Avenue
Welcome to The Front Porch!, it provides privacy with a spectacular view that can’t be found anywhere else in the village.  The newly added master suite has the feeling of a tree house with it's eleven foot vaulted ceiling!

The Bult House:  6811 Mount Vernon Avenue
The Bult’s colonial home has recently gone through a complete renovation including a two-story addition.  Careful consideration was taken to maintain the charm of this 1940s home while updating it with extraordinary modern touches.

The Peter-Sibcy House:  3900 West Street Unit 103
Walk into 3200 square feet of sunshine pouring through windows all around.  The Peter-Sibcy family moved into their brand new beautifully appointed and decorated home last summer.  (Use Mariemont Elementary parking lot)

The Barn:  6980 Cambridge Avenue
The 'Resthaven' Barn was constructed in 1924 to serve the farm land and livestock of the growing community. During the 1930's, the Lindner Quality Milk Co. leased the dairy.   Today, The Barn is home of the Women’s Art Club of Cincinnati and special events.
