Business Planning Basics
Components, Best Practices and Utilization

A Business Plan is not just required to secure funding at the start-up phase of a business.  The Business Plan is a critical tool that can assist you with identifying challenges within your business model, hasten your response to changes in the market and economy and improve the effectiveness of management.  The more you understand how your business operates and the market the better equipped you will be to ensure the achievement of your goals and long-term success.  This seminar will provide attendees with:

Overview on Why Each Section of the Business Plan is Important to the Final Document
Overview of What Types of Information and Data is Needed to Complete Each Section
Overview of Best Practices for Developing/Updating a Business Plan
How to Utilize Your Business Plan in Daily Business Operations

All attendees of the seminar will be provided with a copy of the Business Planning Guide produced by the
Small Business Development Center, University at Albany.
