CLCA SFBA Holiday Event 2014
This holiday season, join the CLCA SFBA Chapter for lunch at Original Joe's for a quintessential, classic San Francisco dining experience. A fabric of the City for 75 years, Original Joe's is located in the heart of the historic and majestic North Beach and is just a three minute walk from the theater where we will experieince the Beach Blanket Babylon Christmas Matinee.
Steve Silver’s Beach Blanket Babylon, now in its 40th year and celebrating over 15,000 performances, is a world renowned record-breaking success and the longest running musical revue in theatre history! This San Francisco institution captures the wild, witty and wonderful world of creator Steve Silver. Premiering at the Savoy Tivoli in June 1974, and then moving to Club Fugazi in 1975, Beach Blanket Babylon continues to delight audiences with its hilarious spoofs of pop culture, spectacular costumes and outrageously gigantic hats.
Extended valet parking is available at Original joe's for the duration of lunch and the show. Or, hop on the "holiday bus" and travel to the city in style with your friends from CLCA. The bus leaves PBM in Mountain View at 10 a.m. and Sam-Trans Park-n-Ride on East 19th St., in San Mateo at 10:30 a.m.
