Join us for Big Top trip

on August 12 and 13

Wisconsin Public Radio (WPR) is taking it's annual Big Top trip. 

Featuring a new show at Big Top Chautauqua "All Aboard: Songs of the Railroad," this show includes songs from the Nelson Ferris Concet Co. production "On the Velvet," and other stories and songs of train travel, trains and rail men. 

Day one has you boarding a deluxe motor coach in La Crosse, Eau Claire, or Rice Lake, traveling to Ashalnd WI, to check into The Hotel Chequamegon.

As a group we will be dining before the show at Deep Water Grille, a restaurant connected to the local brewery South Shore Brewery. The cost of dinner is included in your ticket price and you may choose your entree during registration. 

A cash bar will be available during dinner.

Chicken Marsala with mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables

Lake Superior Whitefish with saffron rice and mixed vegetables

Vegetarian Option: Alfredo past with vegetables and bread and butter on the side

All dinners include a salad and a dessert
 
After dinner we will head to Bayfield for the Big Top Chautauqua show, "All Aboard: Songs of the Railroad."

On day two we depart from the hotel to go to Duluth to get a tour of the Lake Superior Train Museum. We will have about an hour and half after the tour to explore the rest of the museum. After the museum we will have time to go to Canal Park, and enjoy all that it has to offer until 3:00 p.m.

Cost includes your ticket to Big Top show, lodging for one night, Lamers motor coach transportation, train museum ticket and dinner on the first night.

The price per person for a multiple occupancy room is $275.00 and $365.00 for a single occupancy room.
