Generations in the Workplace

With so much focus on the Millennial Generation, it is important to understand how ALL generations contribute to the success and financial health of an organization. Therefore, this interactive presentation will discuss how to strategically and thoughtfully ENGAGE ALL generations in the workplace. All attendees will be provided with a follow up email that contains notes and tools discussed at the Dinner meeting.

Attendees will learn:

  • “One size doesn’t fit all” in communicating with others
  • To use your awareness of generational differences to recruit and retain employees
  • To apply practical knowledge of various individual behavioral styles to make better connectionsacross all employees

We all know that becoming an “Employer of Choice” means embracing the diversity of different generations as well as different behavioral styles of others.  The presentation will discuss how to open discussions with those different from us to attract, recruit, hire and retain the best talent for your company.                

Presenter: Barbara DeMatteo, Director of Human Resources Consulting, Portnoy Messinger Pearl & Associates, is an accomplished professional whose Human Resources experience spans over 36 years. Her comprehensive experience adds credibility to the training programs she develops and delivers to supervisors, managers and executives which allows her to connect with trainees in a realistic and impactful way.
