Session Topic
A Primer on COVID-19 in the Workplace for Financial Professionals

Summary & Learning Objectives
As we begin 2021, the COVID-19 pandemic continues to dramatically affect how companies do business and interact with their employees. In this session, Annie will provide practical guidance on addressing some of the difficult issues employers must navigate due to COVID-19. Topics include testing requirements, vaccine mandates and incentives, remote work expectations and pitfalls, and tax consequences. Learning objectives include: (1) legal parameters of vaccines in the workplace; (2) COVID-19 testing and screening in the workplace; (3) legal watch-outs related to transitioning or continuing employees’ (particularly non-exempt) remote work arrangements.
