Session Topic
King of the Hill: Capital Markets, Inflation & An Investment Outlook
Session Summary
Investors currently face a puzzling economic outlook. Record U.S. stock prices contrast with an economy that’s still in early recovery. This has left many wondering: What gives? Neither U.S. economic ingenuity nor some radically new economic model can explain the resilience of equity markets. An understanding of the impact of Federal Reserve policy is important for all investors. This foundation will assist in managing both corporate assets as well as personal investment portfolios.
Learning Objectives
1. Gain insights into current trends in financial markets
2. Develop appreciation for the multiple influences on financial markets and movements that result
3. Evaluate investment pools and develop informed decisions on asset allocation strategy
