In this session, CLA will explore “real life” financial analysis solutions in response to COVID-19 in various industries. How can data be used in a strategic, forward-looking manner to support business strategy in the midst of a pandemic? Session participants will interact with data informed modeling tools to understand how organizations use data analysis to navigate through the COVID-19 pandemic by using scenario modeling to inform decision making and long-term success.

The Coronavirus crisis has been particularly trying for small businesses, and we want to support those clients, many of whom make up the fabric of our communities.

What is CLA Intuition©? 
CLA Intuition is a proprietary financial planning program that identifies and models the financial impacts of an organization’s key performance drivers. Biography
With more than 20 years of experience, Chris provides audit, accounting, and consulting services to privately held businesses in a variety of industries, including manufacturing and distribution, retail, consumer products, telecommunications, and transportation and logistics.

Chris specializes in audit leadership and execution, and identifies specialty services that can benefit the firm’s clients. His experience goes beyond compliance services as he helps businesses with management consulting, strategic planning, and merger and acquisition analysis.  Chris has worked with several private equity groups going beyond the audit to provide additional expertise including analyzing acquisition opportunities. Chris is a strategic leader at CLA and serves on the firm’s Wisconsin Advisory Board.

As a Business Intelligence & Analytics Manager in Wipfli’s Technology Consulting practice, Kate leads implementation teams to build dashboards and analytics platforms that improve organizational performance and drive actionable analytics for a diverse clientele. Experienced, certified and industry aligned, she focuses on applying dashboard and visualization best practices to identify and meet the business goals and objectives of her clients. Kate has been in the Business Intelligence space for over 8 years and has personally experienced the shift from IT governed dashboards, to self-service analytics. She adds significant value in translating business requirements into robust and scalable data models, ensuring that organizations can continue to build upon their applications as their analysis requirements evolve.

Deron Kling is an experienced consultant, trainer, and leader focused on helping Wipfli’s clients plan for the future and reach their objectives. His background includes over 25 years as an organizational leader and management consultant. With strong experience in managing change and strategic goals, Deron excels at guiding organizations through a landscape disrupted by changing tools, resources, compliance requirements, and competition. Driven by a passion for helping organizations meet measurable objectives, he excels at training, leading through change, strategic thinking, and team engagement.

Jared Papador, Business Intelligence & Analytics Manager with Wipfli has been with the firm since 2013. He specializes in helping clients better understand and utilize data to make informed data driven decisions about their organization. As a result, our commute times have been eliminated, external coffee, breakfast and lunch meetings are virtual and there is no travel domestically or internationally. We have hours added into our daily working schedules. Those in transition are not commuting to interviews or networking events. Now is the time to understand how to enhance your relationship base through effective networking, connecting and giving. This will be impactful today and will continue to pay dividends when we return to the workplace.

Biography
Larry Kaufman is the author of The NCG Factor – A Formula for Building Life-Changing Relationships from College to Retirement. He is the Managing Director for the Midwest Region of Experis Finance, LinkedIn international speaker and trainer, and is well known as a local and national guest speaker for our FEI and for our Northeastern Wisconsin Chapter.

Larry is a connector, giver, and rainmaker who lives his life to help others succeed. He has held roles in public accounting, financial consulting, and recruitment as well as sales and operational leadership with P&L ownership and worked in other entrepreneurial capacities.

Larry has also hired and developed inside and outside sales forces in healthcare, technology, staffing, manufacturing, consulting firms, and the accounting industry. He has been a powerful force in helping companies of all sizes by providing hundreds of corporate introductions to business professionals wishing to expand their client base. Larry is an investor and advisor to several local technology companies and sits on the board of Holiday Heroes, a charity that brings joy and a sense of normalcy to hospitalized children. He has a BBA from Loyola University in Human Resources Management. Larry resides in a Chicago suburb with his wife and two children.
