The Rise of the Digital CFO

Summary
Loren will focus on the rise of the digital CFO and incorporate Oracle as
a case study. Additionally, she cover cyber security in her keynote presentation.

Ms. Mahon is responsible for driving the internal use of Oracle applications and partnering with development, IT, and lines of business in defining best practices around the use of applications and in designing operations to maximize efficiency, effectiveness, customer service, internal controls, and data integrity, especially in a shared services environment.

Ms. Mahon has spent the last 26 years at Oracle managing various functions within Oracle finance including North America finance, contracts, incentive compensation, FP&A, projects administration, order management, license management services, and customer data administration and has participated in numerous internal application development and implementation efforts. She is a frequent speaker on Business Transformation, Finance Best Practices, and Shared Services. Prior to joining Oracle, Ms. Mahon spent nine years in various analyst roles at several public sector and non-profit organizations. She holds Masters Degrees in Applied Anthropology and Business Administration.

Ms. Mahon currently serves as Vice Chair on the Board of Directors at Second Harvest Food Bank of Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties. She is currently on the Committee for Finance and IT and the Board of Directors for FEI and a member of the Silicon Valley FEI Chapter. She is on the Scholarship Committee for the Professional Business Women of California, a member of the Advisory Board for the Alliance for Girls, and is a member of the Executive Committee for OWL, Oracle’s Women’s Leadership initiative.

A macro level discussion on M&A activity and M&A financing trends in
the US market.

Joseph Kleinwachter is responsible for handling syndicated loan origination and distribution across the corporate banking group and has been with Associated Bank for three years.  Joe has 13 years of diversified capital markets and banking experience.  Prior to joining Associated, Joe worked in the structured finance group for The Royal Bank of Scotland and was responsible for originating public and private securitization financings backed by a variety of asset classes including auto loans and leases, trade accounts receivable and floor plan lines.  Prior to joining the structured finance team, Joe worked in the debt capital markets group at ABN AMRO/LaSalle Bank where he originated private placements and public bond financings.  Joe started his career at JP Morgan/Bank One in the loan syndications group.

Joe holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a BBA in Finance from Benedictine University.

Summary
This session will cover an overview of recent trends in M&A activity and M&A financing from both a commercial bank and private equity point of view.  Additionally, more detailed insights on tax attributes, capital structure and legal concepts will be discussed as it relates to change of control buyout financing.

As a Managing Director of Mason Wells Buyout Funds, Mr. Radtke is primarily responsible for supporting the investment and portfolio development activities of those funds.  In this capacity, Mr. Radtke is responsible for initiating investment opportunities, conducting due diligence, negotiating debt financings, serving on the Board of Directors of portfolio companies and working with portfolio company management teams.

Mr. Radtke has over 15 years of private equity investing experience in middle market companies. Prior to joining Mason Wells in 2006, Mr. Radtke worked for Cornerstone Equity Investors, LLC in New York for five years, where he was responsible for the origination, analysis, due diligence and execution of control-oriented investments in middle market companies in the business services and specialty manufacturing industries.  Prior to Cornerstone Equity Investors, Mr. Radtke worked in Lehman Brothers' New York office for three years, where he was an Investment Banking Analyst in the real estate and mergers and acquisitions groups.

Mr. Radtke is currently a member of the Board of Directors of AWT Labels & Packaging, Mullinix Packages and Nelipak Healthcare Packaging.

A native of Wisconsin, Mr. Radtke received a Master of Business Administration Degree from Columbia Business School and a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Vanderbilt University.
