Chapter Championship
The Bridges Course at Firewheel Golf Park
- 18 Holes for the Chapter Championship - this is your opportunity to qualify for
- The Semi-Final Championship (Regional) in Humble, TX at The Golf Club of Houston, a one-day, 18 hole event held July 12, 2014
- Then to the National Championship in Nashville, TN at The Hermitage Golf Course, a two-day, 36 hole event held October 10-11, 2014
- Tee times beginning at 8:00 a.m.
- $80 (Local fee) + $35 (National fee)
- Buffet lunch following play
- Range balls provided
- Members only
The Low Gross & Low Net Champions in each flight of stroke play competition are eligible to advance. The First Place Scramble Team winners are also eligible to advance.
STROKE PLAY COMETITION
Stroke Play Competitors play in one of five flights based on their USGA Handicap Index.
Five flights:
- Championship: Handicap Index 0.0 - 12.0
- 1st Flight: Handicap Index 12.1 - 19.0
- 2nd Flight: Handicap Index 19.1 - 25.0
- 3rd Flight: Handicap Index 25.1 - 32.0
- 4th Flight: Handicap Index 32.1 - 40.4

INTER-CHAPTER TEAM SCRAMBLE
Scramble Teams consists of four (4) women. The team "handicap factor" is established based on the USGA Handicap Index of all four women.

To Qualify, EWGA Members must:
- Follow the registration guidelines below
- Be an EWGA Member in good standing
- Have a verifiable USGA Handicap Index and have an equivalent of two 18-hole scores posted to your handicap record in the current year
- Be a female amateur golfer as defined by USGA Rules of Amateur Status and EWGA gender policy.
Two stage registration!! Both steps required -
- First - Local Chapter Registration - Click "Register Now!" Button above. This fee covers green fee, cart, range balls, trophies and lunch.
- Second - National Registration - Click Here to register. EWGA entry fee covers the costs associated with running a national, multi-level event.
Deadline to register: 11:00 a.m. (12 noon EST) May 29th
Flag Day fact: The Second Continental Congress first approved a national flag on June 14, 1777. However, Flag Day did not become official until 1916. That year, President Woodrow Wilson issued a proclamation that established a nationwide observance of Flag Day on June 14.
