MCLP Poverty Simulation 

Experience first-hand some of the challenges faced by people living in poverty through this thought-provoking simulation co-sponsored by the Multicultural Leadership Program and the University of Illinois Extension Office.

Participants will be assigned to family units and given information on their occupations, expenses, etc.  During the course of the evening, each family must juggle competing demands for their resources.  

This thought-provoking event ends with a debrief by the University of Illinois Extension Office facilitators.  A light supper will be provided.  Please contact the MCLP office at 309-556-3651 if you have questions.
