ARE 5.0 (PDD) STUDY SESSION
This ARE 5.0 Workshop will focus on the integration and documentation of building systems, material selection, and material assemblies into a project. You should be able to demonstrate an understanding of and abilities in integration of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and specialty systems. At noon we will provide lunch and have some open time for some Q&A about the test and the ARE's in general. The event will be at Then Design Architecture (TDA) who has graciously sponsored the space. Lunch will be provided.
AIA Ohio has a program titled AIA Ohio Cares (Catalyst for Architectural Registration Exam Scholarship), that is geared toward helping ARE Candidates with grants to complete thier ARE testing. This program is open to all Ohio residents who are eligible to take the ARE and the funds may be used for either the cost of testing or for other associated costs, including study material. The fund permits members and non-members alike to apply for funding. AIA Associate members may qalify for a grant of up to $200, while non-members are limited to $100 grats. Grants are limited to one per year and funds available for this program are limited so awards will be made on a first come, first serve basis.
