UAS Drone Technology

Course Description:

CTL Engineering will be highlighting all of the benefits of UAS/Drone Technology as well as safe operations and best practices. You will understand what a UAS (Unmanned Aerial System) is, its technical capabilities and applicaitons within the A/E/C industry.  the presentation will cover FAA regulations, accuracy, camera detail, inspecting inaccessible or hazardous areas, flight characteristics and limitations.   

Learning Objectives:

  • Safe and responsible UAS operations.  This course will illustrate the value which safe UAS operations can provide.
  • Applications within the A/E/C industry, all of the uses and limitatios to add efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Technical capabilities of the UAS, its flight characteristics, limitations, etc.
  • Knowledge of FAA regulations.
