As we survive life's challenges, we come face to face with fear and uncertainty. Challenges may allow us to step out of our comfort zone and push ourselves above and beyond our own self-limitations. It is how we choose to overcome challenges that make us who we are. It is our strength in times of difficulty that prove our character and self worth. As I share my experience of being on a reality show, I encourage you to think about how you decide to survive on a daily basis. I will encourage you to think about six words to develop your survival skills. With my six simple words, you can take on any challenge you are faced with. Adversity is not so much contending with problems as it is learning more about who you already are and what is inside of you. Join me and explore what your true survival skills are.

Rope a Dope is not a Service Strategy
Unlike Muhammad Ali’s famous tactic against George Foreman in the epic 1974 Rumble in the Jungle heavyweight match, “Rope a Dope” is no way to approach member service.  Laying back, being reactive and assuming members will be loyal is not a championship worthy plan.  Service that builds relationships and forges long term member loyalty requires daily proactive focus from every employee in your credit union.  Gain insight into how poor service creates risk to your bottom line and what moves can help ensure a strong and profitable membership.

10:00 - 10:15 am Stretch Break

10:15 - 11:15 am
Closing Keynote -  Don Arkell

The Contender: Credit Unions
It's a battle for your member's business. The vast majority of credit unions were not "Born Digital". With one foot in the past and one in the future, many credit unions struggle with attracting and growing direct loans and members. Learn how the most successful credit unions are maximizing remote delivery to increase sales and leverage their brand. "Convenience" has been redefined. This thought-provoking session will challenge management about how they currently deliver loans today and how they need to deliver in the future to stay relevant.
