Giving USA 2014: The Annual Report on Philanthropy in 2013, which reveals trends and critical benchmarks in philanthropy, was released in late June.

Are you aware of this data, and more importantly, How it should be used?

  • What does the future hold for giving?
  • If the S&P 500 was so strong in 2013, and giving tracks the S&P, why wasn't giving up more?
  • What are the trends in religious giving (and why is this important)?
  • Was there an increase in giving to education; either way, what are the implications?
  • What's up with corporate giving, and why is individual giving important?

Robert Evans will review the results of Giving USA 2014: The Annual Report on Philanthropy in 2013 and share his insights on which organizations are safe, which trends are escalating, and potential red flags for our sector and philanthropy in general.  He will then engage us in discussion re. how our sector can adapt with new approaches or revamp existing fundraising efforts. A brief survey of registrants will be conducted prior to the program to further inform Robert Evan's presentation.

Join us for this informative session and the opportunity to reconnect with colleagues and meet new ones, just as your year gets off and running!
