Senator Jeff Mullis (representing the 53rd District for 9 terms since 2000) is from Chickamauga and currently serves as the Northwest Georgia Joint Development Authority Executive Director and the Top of Georgia Economic Development Chairman.  

Mullis has been chosen by James Magazine as one of the 25 most influential Political Figures in Georgia for the fourth year in a row and was recognized this year by Georgia Trend Magazine as one of the 100 most influential people in Georgia.

 

Elyse Davis joined the Georgia Power Community & Economic Development team in 2014, after 27 years working in C&ED at the local level. During that time, she held various leadership positions in chambers and development authorities. She also operated her own consulting firm, working with community leaders and development authorities on job growth strategies and organizational support.

Commissioner Jason Winters, one of the state’s youngest county commissioners, serves as the chief legislative and executive voice in Chattooga County government. One of his main focuses is in working with economic development to enhance the quality of life of Chattooga County citizens.
