Join us at the Alabama Department of Archives and History for a two-day symposium exploring three centuries of fascinating connections between Alabama and French history. Featuring experts from across the Southeast speaking on a variety of topics including Fort Toulouse, Fort Tombecbe, the Vine and Olive Colony, wartime alliances, French architecture and material culture in Alabama, and Mardi Gras.

Co-sponsored by the Alabama Bicentennial Commission and the Alabama Humanities Foundation.
