DSAEK Clinical 2 Day Training Program 

VISIO Training Academy is offering a 2 day clinical training program in DSAEK. Seats are limited to 6 surgeons, in order to offer a quality training experience. The program will consist of:
  • Pre and Post Operation Observations
  • Surgery Observations
  • Theory
  • Clinical Operation & Practice Management
  • Hands-On Training Wet Lab
  • Eye Bank Fundamentals
  • Ocular tissue is included

Education is very important to Dr. Foster. He regularly lectures to the community at the Eye Associates ' Ellenton location and continues to speak at numerous Community organizations and care facilities in Sarasota, Bradenton, Ellenton. and Sun City. He has successfully fulfilled the requirements for Maintenance of Certification (MOC) to be certified as a Diplomat of the principles of lifelong learning and improvement. The goal of MOC is to continually set the standards of excellence in the quality care: patient care, medical knowledge, practice based learning and improvement. interpersonal and communication skills. professionalism, and systems based practice. The American Board of Ophthalmology also recognizes a seventh competency in surgical skills.
