Fred Firriolo, Owner of Firriolo Inc., General Contractors.
Firriolo Inc. was founded in 1961 by Fred and his uncle, Jim Tortora, specializing in general construction projects, commercial construction, residential home construction, renovations and remodeling projects such as kitchens, bathrooms and additions.
Firriolo Inc. has completed commercial construction projects for Columbia University, North Shore LIJ, Long Beach Medical, Supermarkets including A&P and IBM.
Fred Firriolo has a vocational background in civil technology, construction estimating from Stony Brook University and business management from St. John's University, and has also served as an architectural superintendent and electrician.
He will be speaking about general contractor relationships with homeowners, compliance & permits, contracts, consumer affairs and project estimating. Beware the project pitfalls of the lowest priced bidder... as you get what you pay for!
