Workplace wellness programs have been proven to reduce health care costs and are now being considered by most businesses. Agents must be trained on which aspect of wellness programs are effective for employers, especially small employers, and how to communicate and implement workplace wellness programs. After completing this course, agents will be conversant and will have knowledge of the tools necessary to assist in the implementation of successful wellness programs.

This course will instruct agents on the basics of Medi-Cal and the role of agents in the Medi-Cal system.  It will also provide tools and resources agents can use to assist their clients in applying for Medi-Cal services.

This course will instruct agents on the basics of Covered California’s CalHeers (California Healthcare Eligibility, Enrollment and Retention System).

This course will instruct agents on the basics of tax credits and subsidies specific to the Affordable Care Act.  It will provide basic information on tax forms and identifying how to find information pertaining to subsidies.  It will also provide tools and resources agents can use to assist their clients in finding qualified tax advice.
