The California Association of Health Underwriters (CAHU) is the state’s largest organization representing the private health insurance industry...and the only statewide association working solely on behalf of health insurance agents in California.
CAHU actively participates in discussions with the leaders of the California Health Benefit Exchange Board, California Department of Insurance, and other elected and appointed officials and continues to provide dynamic leadership and advocacy for all Californians and its association’s members as the health care landscape continues to shift and evolve.

Workplace wellness programs have been proven to reduce health care costs and are now being considered by most businesses. Agents must be trained on which aspect of wellness programs are effective for employers, especially small employers, and how to communicate and implement workplace wellness programs. After completing this course, agents will be conversant and will have knowledge of the tools necessary to assist in the implementation of successful wellness programs.
