UC Davis Presents Updates in Transplantation

&

Understanding Your Lab Results

Come join us for our May 19th 2013 event featuring the U.C. Davis kidney transplant program. U.C. Davis is in a different region and operates a separate kidney wait list. Importantly for many, this offers the possibility of a much shorter wait time for a kidney.

Dr. Christoph Troppmann, a transplant surgeon, will present the U.C. Davis kidney transplant program that performs over 250 kidney transplants per year. Dr. Troppmann also has a special interest in in single-incision live donor kidney removal surgery, dialysis access procedures and kidney preservation techniques.

Next, Dr. Shubha Ananthakrishnan, Nephrologist, also from U.C. Davis who will help us understand what those "numbers" signify that result from laboratory tests. She will also help us understand how to improve those numbers.

This FREE event will be at the Palo Alto Medical Foundation. There will be ample time for social interaction and patient support.  Kidney-friendly refreshments will be served!
