Get ready for the meeting that takes us inside the MWRD, brings us up to date on what is happening and gives us insight for what can be expected over the coming year. We enjoyed hearing Ms. Wasik for the November meeting last year. Tune in to learn how her first year on the job has gone. This is the meeting that starts the holiday season off right. Jennifer Wasik has worked for the MWRDGC since 2001 as an aquatic biologist, a principal environmental scientist, and currently as the Assistant Director of the Monitoring and Research Department in the Industrial Waste Division. Until recently, when she joined the Industrial Waste Division, she oversaw waterway monitoring programs and water quality related projects in the Chicago area waterways. Jennifer also serves on the executive boards of the Illinois Association of Wastewater Agencies and the Lower Des Plaines Watershed Group. She has a BS in Biology from the University of Michigan and an MS in Environmental Management from the Illinois Institute of Technology.
